About Blake

Blake Markus practices in several areas of law including Business Litigation, Construction Defect and Personal Injury. Blake’s practice has spanned from representing national window and door industry clients to aiding local clients in personal injury matters, business issues, and real estate disputes. He has also been published for research on complex Antitrust Law issues. Blake helps local businesses and corporate entities with formation of LLCs, operating agreement and contract analysis, non-compete litigation, and litigating disputes between members or with third parties.

Blake lives in downtown Jefferson City and is active in service and community organizations. He is a member of the Jefferson City Planning and Zoning Commission, a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and a former board member of the Jefferson City Rotaract Club. Blake has lived in Missouri and West Virginia most of his life.

Recognizing the amazing results he has obtained for his clients, Blake received the Missouri Lawyer’s Weekly Up & Coming Lawyer Award in 2014 and an award from Missouri Lawyer’s Weekly for the second largest settlement in Missouri in 2017 for a truck collision case.
